I've been using it for a couple months now and the filter has built up a nice layer of dust, I'll be cleaning it soon. Bought this not because I have any allergies or anything, but because there seemed to be a lot of dust in my small room.





I can't really say how well it's doing its job, but by the layer of dust I'd say that it's helping keep the air in my bedroom clean. My room is small so this purifier seems to be sufficient for it. I leave it on when I go off to work or leave the house for long periods of time, it's too loud to keep on while I sleep, even on the 'low' setting, as I'm a very light sleeper.





The only con I can think of is the noise. It makes a loud, but smooth, 'hum'. Not unexpected. I've also never used the ionizer part of this purifier.

Nice and small, it's compact enough to keep above a chest of drawers and powerful enough to keep our entire 2nd floor (it's a converted attic, approximately 10' x 30') free of that dingy, dusty scent that seemed to plague it. A bit noisy on the highest setting, but if you only use it during the day when you're not home, who cares?





Works well at the 2nd highest setting, also. And this setting is much quieter and less distracting.

Because of my allergies and respiratory condition, I was looking for a good, small air purifier, that didn't require having to buy expensive filters every so often. This air purifier is perfect for my dorm room. On the lowest setting you can't even hear it. And for the price, it was a steal! Especially because I don't have to buy anything else (for example: additional filters like the other brands). I'm really satisfied about my purchase. I hope it lasts! :)

Unit is the size of a laptop (width and length) and height of a grande Starbucks coffee. Right now my main compliant is noise.


At the lowest speed settings the unit is highly audible and much too noisy for a quiet office.
