 "i'm really dissapointed" 2010-02-24

By Roger R. Cote (biddeford maine.)

i've been wanting this mouse ever since i saw it released and when my mouse let go i said nows the time , well i was in for quite a dissapointment the design is way off it tips from side to side you really can't grip it the way you should because of the design i'm just so dissapointed and i've been using logitech for so many years that i never questioned the fact i may not be satisfied in fact it's so anoying to use i have a corded laser mouse plugged in as a standby and have found myself using that one much more . sorry logitech but for something that retails for $150.00 (i only paid $109.00 ) i would have expected it to be allot more than that for today's economy !

"Push through the learning curve" 2010-02-21

By Lorax (Bay Area, CA)

This mouse blows your mind when you first start using it in the air. The computer smoothing algorithms make it feel extremely precise and controlled, but at the same time you notice how twitchy your muscles are. Especially the first few times you press a button you feel like the cursor jumps all the way across the screen. But once you realize that you have to support the mouse with an equal and opposite force, and figure out hand positions that stabilize the base while clicking, it's quite doable.

I'm just a couple of days into using this mouse, and the first day I was thinking it was no good. But after I read these reviews I got my confidence back up and I'm glad I persisted. I'm starting to learn the hand positions, motions, and gestures, to get this working. As another reviewer pointed out, it wasn't natural learning to use a desktop mouse either but we all got through that.

I'm still getting my bearings, but I'm confident that by the time my return period ends I'll be proficient with it enough to make this a great couch mouse. It's not perfect though; it could benefit from a Wiimote style IR camera and IR light bar to place by the screen. That would drastically reduce the need to recenter. And the buttons need to be redesigned. I'd like to see buttons on the front and/or back, because they could be pressed without jerking the mouse position.

For desktop use, it's just for emergencies; the shape just doesn't even fit my big hand, requiring pressing with extended fingers, which is not ergonomic. So I'm keeping my vx nano mouse that I use for desk use. I haven't had trouble with both mouses installed on the same laptop.

"no more carpal tunnel problems" 2010-02-08

By K. S. Crissman

This mouse takes a little getting used to, but it has allowed me to work without the pain associated with normal "surface-based" mice. I liked it enough to buy one for my company president and he is likewise very pleased. Then I also bought a second one for my home office. It's not perfect and requires a bit of patience sometimes, but it sure has helped relieve the carpal tunnel pains! And pratice does improve my efficiency.

However, I do wish the batteries held up longer (typically 3-5 days max). The recharger is convenient but its means I have to use a different mouse while this one is charging. Come to think of it, my Logitech Performance MX also suffers from the same short battery life. Hey Logitech...get some better batteries!

"Have to Re-Center every few minutes!" 2010-02-01

By SKK GUM (Guam, USA)

Bought 2 Logitech MX Air Cordless Air Mouses during X'mas of 2009. They turned out to be extremely POOR Device. I had to Re-Center the cursor every Few Minutes! It is a totally useless as an AIR MOUSE. Every few minutes will no longer be useful unless you Re-Center the Cursor again and again and again!

Useless Device. I will not buy this again and I DO NOT recommend anyone to buy this also!
