Couldn't get an IP address from the device. I would have tried another, but Tiger Direct told me they would only credit and that I would have to order another. I am sure I just got a defective device. Bought an Actiontec GR701D instead....wonderful device !

I replaced a PC running sharing software (on an 8-computer home network) with this box. It couldn't have been easier. Everything performed as stated. The only reason that I didn't give it a 5 was that I couldn't figure out how to set it up for static IP. The instructions seemed to indicate that this was possible but everything that I tried didn't work. Once I converted everything over to DHCP it worked great. Highly recommend this product.

I would give this modem/router 0 stars if I could. This is the hardest thing to set up, I tried for days and my computer wouldn't even recognize the hardware. I have window XP and apparently it doesn't work with this OS, even though in the product description it says it supports all OS! They also have no customer support to speak of, I sent it back.
