The description for this 3G wireless hotspot doesn't really make it clear that you will have to supply a separate 3G USB modem. If you were thinking that it included an unlocked 3G modem, and that you could simply slip in a SIM to get going, think again.
I passed this on to a colleague, who was looking for a hotspot that would work with a WiMAX USB modem. Unfortunately this combination wouldn't work.
The upshot is that I'm left with a white box equivalent to the Apple AirPort Express without the ease-of-use. Oh, well.

This products looks great on paper. Arrived today and can't get it to work in any configuration. It powers up just fine but can't connect to configure it using the supplied software. Tried everything (I'm an engineer so I know very well what I'm doing) but it's getting the better of me. Will try tech support if I can find out how to contact, otherwise it gets returned. I will update this review if I get it working, or even if I return it. I really hope I can get it to work, it would be perfect for my needs.
