I wanted a wireless link for my new laptop and I wanted to replace my router and rented cable modem, so this sounded like a really good option for me. After checking with my provider (Comcast) the WCG200 was fully supported so I purchased from a smaller retailer on Amazon. It arrived promptly and set up was a cinch! All I had to do was hook it up, call comcast and give them the MAC number printed on the bottom of the unit. They reset it as I was on the phone. My only trouble was it didn't work immediately because I forgot to plug in my ethernet cable. Few things are this trouble free and it works great. Now I have less wiring to deal with, complete freedom for my laptop and no more $3 fees for my modem lease.
