It was released on the week, I installed in the window, and it works like a dream, and is also quiet. It not only cools the living room, but kitchen and two other rooms. The remote is a bonus. Took two years, since the fan motor grinding By G. Kohl Before the fan motor going bad, the unit performed well. Applicant neighbor said outside the noise level was quite high. I think the fan motor and seals do not let the water after I washed the AC of debris several times with a garden hose. Although I could be wrong. The AC was under a tree scrub oak shield openings at the top of the AC, but with scrub oaks, resistance is futile. In any case, two years is not enough. 1 of 3 people found this review helpful.
