Pierce Phillips Summary: 5 / 5 stars - glad I bought it, would enthusiastically recommend it to friends, and would not hesitate to buy a new ----- This model 2155A Lasko window fan - also sold as a 9155 model King Air - is a blessing for me. I live in the deep South (Georgia), where the rate of oppressive summer heat (high heat + almost 100% humidity), often reaches 130 and above - and I have no air conditioning. For me, a big fan of the whole house window if this makes the difference between comfort and hell as July and August roll (it is July 27th as I write, I sit by the window with the fan on the same). This is really a whole house window fan, and cost much less to operate than an air conditioner. Compared to the A / C Central, I'm saving more than one hundred dollars per month or $ 600 per year, each year is money better spent elsewhere! With this high volume fan, I have my whole house cool without using electricity monthly $ 150 + center A / C. This fan was recovered in the first month. Also, I discovered that I used for non A / C, and I love the summers are almost lethargic and angry when I'm in a place with no air conditioning anywhere in a supermarket parking lot at a barbecue.
