The Air Multiplier uses an airfoil-shaped ramp to amplify the airflow 15 to 18 times to create a cool blast of smooth air without the unpleasant buffeting caused by spinning blades. The energy-efficient motor draws in more than 5 gallons of air per second using the same technologies used in jet engines. The air passes over the airfoil-shaped ramp, which channels its direction. Air behind and around the machine is also drawn into the airflow, amplifying it at least 15 times for a quiet, cool breeze that will let you relax. With no blades or grille to get in the way, the Air Multiplier is safe around kids and pets, and it’s easy to clean too. Dichter We were attracted to this because the fan factor "cool" and performs as advertised. But its price at the helm, could use some improvements, such as the silver lining in the 12 "model looks like cheap plastic Changed, 10." Bright white model has a lot more refined. We bought the Dyson to replace a standard desktop fan in a mini-home theater to reduce the noise level. Unfortunately, Dyson, due to its high internal speed of the turbo, was significantly higher than the fan to replace. We kept the same, but for a different application. For the money, a simple remote control would have been a welcome addition. The variable speed is a nice touch, but their range seems limited to "medium" in its lowest position, which reduces its usefulness to the foreground, smooth (and quiet) cooling (in our example, share a computer desktop) That said, moving too much air, it looks good and is obvious to anyone with small children. A work of art, and works as advertised by Roland Romeis has impressed me with this fan when I first saw in a store a year ago, and I realized immediately that I wanted. Now I have it for my birthday. I really do not need a fan, because my apartment has air conditioning, but I like the innovative technical solutions and good industrial design, and I think the multiplier functional air like a sculpture than a tool to make wind. I think most people buy a plane multiplier reasons like this and not for practical reasons - if all you need is wind, you can probably get more wind for less money with a conventional fan, though some critics say that the multiplier Air does not even make a lot of wind, and it is not true. Even at the lowest level I feel a breeze quite significant at a distance of 10 meters. Again, you can probably find cheaper fans that make it more wind, but the multiplier Air doing enough wind in the area in front of it and it's how you create, because you want to enjoy his appearance. Do not you want to hide this stuff in some remote corner of the action. Noise levels are low, with a sound that reminds me of a hair dryer instead of a fan (for comparison, Dyson dryers, which have become very popular in public baths are much stronger with a sound that I associate with a vacuum cleaner - the multiplier Air is much less noisy and has a sound far more comfortable).
