It also serves as a 54-pint dehumidifier with an option for direct draining. It has 3 cooling speeds and electronic controls with remote and LED display. Danby made good products. The air conditioner comes with all necessary services for all possible and if you use it as a dehumidifier, which has a drainage tube must unite. Comes with sliding panels sufficient for the installation of doors. The same unit is much quieter than the Royal Sovereign, and as I'm sure it's more of a noisy window units, I am pleased that this is calm, as it is. It is also slightly smaller than the RS was. I was nervous white plastic, but it is a bright, easy to clean. The outgoing air can be directed upward or forward, but not next to each variable. This unit is also equipped with heat. One thing funny is that the air conditioner has a remote control, the right ... but you can not see the settings on the air conditioner because it is on the top there! The thermostat works very well this air conditioner will not turn off when the desired temperature is reached, and there seems to be common with portable devices. In 2005, Consumer Reports said that if you buy a portable device, get one with two snakes, because it works ... single hose portable devices do not work. You were right. Get your laptop with two snakes. This air conditioner is overpowered for my house so I can check it for power, but that was as strong as RS-unit, which also has the same BTU. First tone is probably influenced by Amanda King: This article is huge. It is almost as big as a dorm fridge ... may be greater. Second Note: This article is high, but not in a bad way. It is the continuous fan-generated white noise, what is happening. If the device is between you and air it seems quieter, but if you can see where the exhaust outlets (Re: Windows installation), you will see both the device and the air in the exhaust pipes third note heard: It is not immediately clear if you use the hose in the AC mode, or just the dryer. Fortunately, the answer is yes ... you need to drain during cooling. That said, I'm totally in love with this big lug. It was more than 95 outside when I took it in. It was more than 90 * in * when I tore into the box. It was about 10 minutes from the girl-read-instruction-Holding Screwdriver thereafter. Ten minutes later, I turned it on and rip let'er. About 60 seconds later the air coming out COLD. The first few levels decreased rapidly, downgrade the entire first floor of the apartment of the "chicken" to "eh, it's pretty hot" for about 5 minutes. The next couple of degrees was slow for about an hour, with the entire first floor of the "hot?" of "hot" and finally "comfortable" .. 75 degrees. This is just the first day, so I'll post follow-up assessments. I would definitely recommend the unit, however. See all 2 reviews ....
