I bought the next, newer model FAC105P1A, hoping the noise problem was solved, but it was not. Not only was it loud in the room where I installed it but it was too high in the room next door and the floor above. Needless to say I gave it back. The second we turned it on, I was like you kidding me. Do not expect to get much sleep. We have to blow up our TV to hear. It is also rattle now and then. I always use this mode AC to 74 degrees because I can not bear to hear all night.
