I live in an apartment in Southern California who is older and has no A / C. The last two months in California experienced a record heat wave. The temperature in the city came to a beach of 108 bubbles with humidity to match. Ranged 78-98%. The heat was so bad that I feel like I was breathing in water when it hit the streets. I put the phone in my room. I think my animals and I spent all our time while at home? It has nothing to do water levels, I connect it to the top (cold) to stop the drive and run 24 / 7. I totally recommend this unit to a housing unit. No, do not have enough BTUs to cool to say, a living room, but the size of the room in my room (15.6 x 11.6 6)? Works great! I use this in a room with a bay window with a crank windows .. in a plexiglass box customized with a cut surface of the tubes and added lines and off you go! I have an A / C it is difficult to fit the room. It does not cool as quickly as some devices, but provide a steady stream of cold air, exhausting the humid air to the outside dimensions of the two tubes through a channel. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful.
