I got back up eight batter a refrigerator and a large bag of ice. I followed the instructions, pluged it and called and I have a very fresh breeze, and was satisfied. Then to my surprise, it did not take fifteen minutes and I noticed that the air soon the earth and the ice was gone. this thing went through 20 pounds of ice as a means of eggs per hen. If you just want to chill for a few minutes, this machine is for you. If you want to cool 20 or 30 minutes or more, ya better buy something else with all somrhting you get from this is a desire for your money back, witch I have not seen. Definitely personal, but you are cool as long as it flies directly to you (and others) The only drawback is all the time to catch on ice. The condensation, so if you use it indoors, you have it on something you do not mind set to get wet. Used it on my camping trip, and boy has it come in handy. Johnston, I also bought this works well for my dogs and I agree, so long as it is blowing directly on you, it is. Between batteries and household batteries, it takes a good while. Definitely good for what I bought it for. Today I use it in my office for me as the air conditioner is not enough and we have a bit of a heatwave. I have two feet from me and does a great job.
