Most useful reviews 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Super quiet and efficient fan! By dozer2 I had to replace my old Nutone vent fan. First, I have a Nutone 668RP allegedly tried to fit right into the hole and save me a lot of work was. They did not know I had to the larger opening. Then the junction box was on the opposite side of the old fan, so I put in a second electric field to extend wires. It was finally installed, but when it was sounded like a helicopter startup. The specs say 4 Sones, but it was more like 24 Sones, and it did not take the humidity. I ordered the Panasonic PV-08VSL1. After re-interpretation of the hole, was the installation pretty easy. not work at first, would the lights work, but I discovered I had hidden behind a white wire to the other missing --- there are a lot of wires! You can almost hear it when you run this fan (1.3 sone), and it does a great job of venting of moisture from the bath. This is the first time in 14 years we have fog on the bathroom mirror after a shower, and above all, there is no moisture in the room so as not to leave the fan runs for 10 minutes to get rid of the rest of the moisture, as we NUTONE done with the addition, the fan is sturdily built with a robust and fan.
