Minus: The dehumidifier is quite high and it runs when the device in dehumidifier mode or in the air conditioning mode. The compressor (which only runs in air conditioning mode) is very quiet when the fan. I would not use the device in a bedroom. Install the exhaust hose was a bit difficult because the pipe has no sides and was a close fit to the widow and air conditioning lines. Window slider kit is easy to install, but the amount is too small. The controller is just a bit larger that opening the window exhaust adapter. The adapter in the controller not to sit at the bottom of the window frame. Poorly designed units with C. Van Tran This product is not worth its value. And 'poorly designed and quite useless in a humid climate. 1. If it is over 90 degrees outside, it will cool an average room fast enough. 2. Window kit for change. 3. In humid climates, the water does not evaporate fast enough. Flows in a very small tank that fills every single hour. The beak on the lower back is difficult to reach and drain if the unit is placed on the ground. The pan is included a joke. This thing leaks out of control, causing a bad smell in your carpet. I had to take my camera from the ground so that drip into a bucket large. Poor Endurance by Steve in Clearwater, FL soleus took my 7000 only about two years before I have a E04 message on the display, which means that the compressor told soleus of CFCs and can not be repaired. Prior to the E04 message unit worked fine. I live in central Florida and used it to cool down a hole they do not quickly. I ran the device almost every day between May and October. I think I use them, but would be expected to last more than 24 months before shutting down.
