Impressively versatile air by Dave Martin Whynter Air Cooler / Heat / humidifier schedule: two months my usage conditions: 51F to 78f, humidity 60% to 80% used functions: heating, evaporative coolers, humidifiers. Design: I chose this mainly for the design and color scheme. I did not want a white / beige device or a psychedelic painted blue or pink candy unit. Conventional design and subtle in the overall appearance. Top brands. Functionality: The Whynter Air cooler is a misleading, although it is a permanent job cooling a 150square foot space, making it much more than cool. The heat was good to have when the temperature is low and humidity is very useful in the treatment of dry air caused by the used stove. Intuitive and easy to control. The water tank on the base to take a little silly ring to slide in and out, but otherwise I have no problem with that. The filters are built to provide a degree of cleaning my room air purifier has lasted around 30% more before the lamp is lit. And "light and portable, but be careful when you move with the tank full of water. Quality: well built with soft-touch control. The remote was responsive and fits perfectly on the drive attached to the holster. The material is primarily of plastic. Easy to clean and maintain. Pre-Filter is easily removed and cleaned. No confusion unit. Price: Absolutely reasonable for everything he does. I take this more than 3 or 4 units separated by one day. Swiss Army knife of Swamp coolers with Ken Manning weather Whatever your situation, it does the trick. I spent almost all of the features and my favorite is the function of humidification. As an extremely dry in the desert, the ability to keep very precise humidity in your immediate environment has, I am very impressed. Just make sure that the device has a water filling enough to use and away you go. The cooling function is large and thus heat. Daniel, I bought this on two other important users, and now I am convinced that these were created by the manufacturer. There is nothing positive to say about this product, but the negative ... - It has hardly any influence on the temperature, if the mode is set to the cooling air. - It is extremely loud and annoying. Seriously, it sounds like a lawnmower in slow motion. - Beam a nasty, like the smell of exhaust. Save time and money, you do not really want this product at any price. EDIT (6/10/11): My suspicion is looking for the other two users (Ken Manning, Dave Martin) at the time of my purchase through their inspection and tagging history can be confirmed, although both have only this product (with a full positive criticism, of course), and each day Whynter product with a range of positive / descriptive adjectives. Ken Manning went so far that several competing products as "defective" and "not cold" day. Now I know not to trust what the brand now. All 17 customer reviews ....
