The unit looks nice.
The electronic controls are good.
The remote is good.
The remote temperature sensor is kind of lame. It is infrared. i.e.: the remote has to sit on your desk and point at the air conditioner constantly in order for it to work. That is silly. I wanted to use the remote to sense and control the temperature from my bed but my bed is not direct line of site to the air conditioner so it's useless. it should use radio not infrared. Dumb.

This air conditioner is so ridiculously loud it makes you want to kill yourself! You won't be able to hear the TV or music or hear anyone talking on the phone! And it completely sucks, the btu's should cool my space but it's 80 degrees in here despite the fact that I set the air conditioner to 60 ad it's been running all day!!! I hate this thing!!!!!

This is the loudest AC we have ever had!! Stay a mile away. You have to shout to be heard above the annoying, high-pitch sound of the compressor. We exchanged it for a Sharp, which was much less noisy. I can't believe that they would roll-out a product like this!

Noisy, oh yes! Sounds like a jet engine when it kicks on but i like noise while i sleep so it doesn't bother me. This has many nice features, Auto Fan Speed which starts the fan speed at high and lowers it as room becomes cooler. Clean air feature which filters out pollen & impurities by energizing the electronic air purifier. Check Filter light so you know when to clean the filter screen. Energy saver, sleep mode, start/stop timer etc. What i like best is the remote sensing feature that takes and displays the temperature in the room on the remote control sending it to the AC. This way the compressor will not shut down until the remote is equal to what the AC temperature display is set to, comes in handy making sure where you leave the remote in the room is the same temperature set not just around the AC. If loud noise doesn't bother you and features do then this is a very good AC. [....]

This would be a five star unit if it wasn't so noisy even on the lowest fan speed.
