Bought this refurbished modem and so far no problems. Installation consisted of plugging it in, letting the cable guy wait for the signal to come through, then done. We also hooked up a Netgear Wireless router to it and had no problems whatsoever. To rent a modem from the cable company costs $5 a month. Hopefully, this will last over 5 months and I'll start earning money from the purchase instead of putting more cash into the hands of the cable company!

Bought this because I finally got tired of paying $5 a month to rent one from my cable company. I literally swapped them, called the cable company with the Mac address and was back online within five minutes. I have not had any issues whatsoever. Excellent product.
